Wordsmyth Literacy helps children, teens, and families understand persistent reading and spelling difficulties and plan their next steps. TJ Feth, M.A., CALT, provides educational dyslexia testing, individualized structured-literacy intervention, and practical school and family workshops.

Educational dyslexia testing

Individualized educational evaluation examines achievement, phonological processing, word-reading efficiency, oral-reading fluency, and comprehension. Families receive a written report, a results conference, and recommendations for instruction and school conversations.

Dyslexia therapy and structured literacy

Explicit, systematic, cumulative instruction supports learners who struggle with decoding, spelling, fluency, or written language. Lessons are based on the learner’s current skills and adjusted using progress monitoring. TJ is trained in Take Flight, Build, and Jet, curricula developed by Scottish Rite for Children.

Dyslexia professional development

Dyslexia Awareness to Classroom Action™ connects interactive educator learning with practical classroom support. In-person workshops may include the Experience Dyslexia™ simulation, facilitated discussion, guided application, and Q&A. Family and community workshops are also available.

TJ Feth, M.A., CALT, is a Certified Academic Language Therapist, licensed Colorado educator, and U.S. Air Force veteran with more than 30 additional graduate hours in special education. His work combines careful assessment, explicit teaching, progress monitoring, and respect for each learner’s strengths.
