FROM AWARENESS TO ACTION
Training is tailored to the audience and may include discussion, case-based application, planning tools, and the Experience Dyslexia™ hands-on simulation. Developed by the Northern California Branch of the International Dyslexia Association, Experience Dyslexia™ uses six learning stations to build awareness and empathy for challenges associated with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. It does not reproduce the experience of having dyslexia.
Wordsmyth incorporates the official Experience Dyslexia™ simulation materials as one component of its broader professional-development program, alongside original instruction connecting dyslexia awareness to practical classroom support.
